Meg Cook

Meg Cook is the Director of Tennis at Oakbourne Country Club.  Meg played tennis at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette for four years where she became the first female to receive an athletic scholarship in the school's history.  Upon graduation, Meg was named the Women's Tennis Coach for the Lady Cajuns.  In 1986, Meg joined the tennis staff at Oakbourne Country Club.  For almost 30 years, Meg has coached numerous adult and junior tennis champions at the local, state and southern level.

Janusz Conradi

Janusz Conradi started the Oakbourne Junior Academy on February 2012. Janusz is a native of Poland and lives with his wife Toni and two kids in Lafayette. He graduated high school in May 2006 and gained  singles ranking on ATP Tour the following month. Since 2008, Janusz has started up three new junior programs in New Iberia, Broussard and in Lafayette. He received USPTA coaching certification in 2010. Graduated UL-Lafayette with a degree in Sports Administration in 2011. Janusz's internship included coaching position at Knollwood Country Club ('08) in Illinois and Fairfield County Hunt Club in Connecticut ('10). 

In 2012, Janusz received a prestigious USTA certification as a Specialist in High Performance Coaching.

Courtney Dugas

Courtney Dugas is our Head Instructor for Early Development. She has graduated from UL-Lafayette in Finance. She has 3 children and lives in Lafayette. Courtney's goal and passion is to promote and expand a Pre-K Tennis Developmental Program at Oakbourne Country Club. Courtney is a Certified Tennis Professional by USPTA and her program is a part of Tennis Whizz curriculum.

Carl Alberton born and raised in Australia, was recruited to play D1 College tennis for UL-Lafayette. Carl was the key player to help the Ragin Cajuns win the Conference Championship in 2012. Carl specializes in transitioning from Red, through Orange to Green ball dot tennis, and is the leading coach for many of our tournament players. Carl proves his tremendous teaching skills through pedagogical approach as a coach at our tennis courts,  and as a Math teacher in a public school system. In 2016, Carl has been voted the teacher of the year by Iberia Parish.

Brandon Nicholson

Brandon Nicholson who was one of our tennis pros from 2004-2007 has rejoined our Oakbourne tennis staff. As many of you remember, Brandon was one of the top ranked juniors in the state of Louisiana as well as the South. It included memorable wins over Andy Roddick, Robby Ginepri during national junior events. Brandon was a key player of the LSU tennis team during 1999-2004. He has 13 years of teaching experience at Oakbourne, University Tennis Center and New Orleans Country Club. Brandon and his wife Katie have a 5 year old son, Caleb. 

Patrick Stegall

Patrick has been our junior instructor since 2015. His work and dedication go far beyond the job description.  He is an active player of our Elite Program. He has been named the most improved player in our academy. Patrick has taken a major role in structuring our junior program's progressions. He's also majoring in Business Management at University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
